Celebration of Success
Once again Shoshone School District is participating in a program to honor exemplary teachers. We hope you will join us in an effort to select the “Shoshone 2023-2024 Teacher of the Year”. This award is designed to honor outstanding commitment to teaching at Shoshone Schools. It is for the teacher you believe demonstrates excellence in creating a positive environment that improves students’ academic opportunities.
“Shoshone Teacher of Year” should be nominated by a student, parent, staff or community member. In order to nominate a teacher, please complete the information below. Upon completion, you can return this form to one of the school office’s or send it back to school with your child to give to the office or their teacher. Please only place one nomination. It’s time to select your Shoshone School District 2023-2024, “Student of the Year”. This award is designed to recognize a student that has shown outstanding academic achievement. They project a positive attitude, cheerful disposition, school spirit and show respect for others. Please complete the information below if you would like to submit a nomination. Shoshone School District has established a “Distinguished Alumni of the Year” hall of fame. The purpose of this award is to recognize and honor former graduates and employees of the Shoshone School District family who took lessons learned and experiences gained from their time at Shoshone schools and went on, making significant lifetime achievements. The “Distinguished Alumni of the Year” award is representative of many fine graduates and employees that are strong role models demonstrating qualities of leadership, character, and service. The “Distinguished Alumni of the Year” plaque stays at school as a reminder of what is possible with the help of a great Shoshone education. In addition to the perpetual plaque, the award winner also receives a remembrance.

The Murph Challenge
Shoshone School District and Lincoln County Recreation Center are excited to announce they are an official host for the “MURPHY CHALLENGE 2024” to honor the memory of all that have served our country in the military. This event will be kicked off by Eli Gough, Director of the Lincoln County Recreation Center, in the gymnasium at Shoshone Schools, 2:30 p.m. on May 22, 2024.
